C3.ai CEO Thomas Siebel delivered the keynote address at the 2017 UBS Global Technology Conference‚ a leading forum for corporate leaders‚ the global investor community‚ influential policy makers‚ and industry experts to discuss and debate the latest developments across the technology sector.

Siebel joined UBS Managing Director Steve Milunovich and Executive Director Jennifer Lowe in a mainstage fireside chat to address a Q&A from the audience of 150+ CEOs‚ founders‚ and presidents of global technology companies seeking ways to leverage AI and IoT across the enterprise.

Siebel explained that CEO-led mandates for digital transformation initiatives are driving one of the fastest growing software markets in the history of information technology – the market for AI and IoT applications‚ estimated to reach $230 billion by 2025.

“Digital transformation‚ with AI and IoT‚ changes everything about the way products are designed‚ manufactured‚ sold‚ delivered‚ and serviced‚” Siebel added‚ “as well as the underlying business processes‚ management practices‚ and information systems. No industry will remain untouched.”

Siebel challenged CEOs and boards to embrace digital transformation as a matter of competitive survival.

The UBS Global Technology conference was held November 13-15 at the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco.
